Clarke Historical Museum can also be seen as a heritage museum with its dedication to the preservation and presentation of the history of the entire area. Our ever changing exhibits accurately tell the story of the gold rush, the lumber industry, ship building and more. The Clarke Historical Museum highlights the heritage of Native American with collections of Yurok canoes, fishing gear ceremonial caps and more, and donations of many of its collection being made to the heritage museum by Native Americans.
