The Texas Zoo promotes the conservation of wildlife and native plants of Texas and the world through preservation efforts, exhibits, educational activities, events, and community outreach.

As we progress with the master plan for the development of a 76-acre park, we continue to evolve at our current location. The Texas Zoo is presently expanding its exhibits to include wildlife exclusively from sub-tropical and tropical regions of the world, and South Texas.
