Scugog Shores Museum consists of the Museum village and the heritage centre located on the shores of Scugog Island overlooking Port Perry, Ontario, Canada, and they preserve the heritage of all peoples that have lived here from the First nations to the early settlers. The Museum grounds consists of 12 restored buildings in the historic village where artifacts illustrate the cultural and natural history and there are heritage flower and vegetable gardens, as well as the Ojibway Heritage Interpretive Lands. Scugog Shores Museum offers guided tours, special events and school programs and is open 7 days of the week, for a fun learning and cultural experience. Scugog Shores Museum also offers the Church, a historical building and unique setting for wedding ceremonies and small receptions.
