Nonesuch River Golf Club, Scarborough, USA is open for its eleventh full season of play this spring. The 203-acre facility features a meticulously maintained 18-hole championship Golf course , a modern 2,500 square-foot clubhouse , a full-size practice range and green , Golf academy , and an experienced, friendly, and professional staff.

The 6,300-yard, par 70 layout was designed by Tom Walker of Golf Design Studios in Palm Beach, Florida. His mission here, as with all his projects, was to provide an appropriate challenge for all player’s skill levels.

Consistent with a first-class design, the greens at Nonesuch River Golf Club, Scarborough, are built to USGA specifications. The course features bentgrass fairways and greens and the layout is fully irrigated.

"What we offer here is everything that's good about Golf", says General Manager, Daniel Hourihan. "We are an affordable fee course with all the amenities of a private club.

Our goal is to provide players in Southern Mainea place with superior greens and fairways in a beautiful setting where they will always be treated well. Most of all, we want them to have fun."

Protecting the environment and The Nonesuch River ...

The club's namesake, The Nonesuch River , runs directly through the Golf course property, creating "wetland areas", which support a variety of plant and animal species.

During the design and construction process, we were careful to maintain valuable wildlife habitat important to local moose, wild turkey, fox and deer populations. We worked closely with state and local officials to limit our environmental impact on the beautiful forest and river area.
