Les Dix Vins in La Londe-les-Maures, Var, France is a sports event project dreamed up by two young London women in 2010, who wanted to create a race in the vineyards, and the entire municipality and mayor loved the concept and immediately joined the project. The association of winemakers opened their fields, and the first event for this unique nature race was set, bringing together more than 350 runners along two courses of 10 kilometres and 23 kilometres respectively in 2014. Since then the courses of the Les Dix Vins have evolved to link a maximum amount of vineyards with minimum road time, and the running session goes through the vineyards, streams, clearings, coast and a diversity of landscapes. Today they also have courses for walkers and those with reduced mobility, and the fun day ends with aperitifs, wines and local sandwiches, it is an event not to be missed.
