Historic Aviation Memorial Museum in Tyler, Texas, has made it their aim to preserve the history and legacy of aviation for generations to come and to offer permanent housing for historic aircraft and memorabilia relating to aviation. At Historic Aviation Memorial Museum we believe that through our interesting displays of aircrafts and aviation memorabilia, we are able to not only educate the public, but also to pay tribute to all the pioneers of flight. We are often requested to present our 'travelling displays' to schools, hospitals and group meetings, and we occassionally have a partly sponsored 'fly-in' which gives groups of youngsters a flight in a small aircraft, many times this is their first flight ever, and is an experience they will not forget, and which could possibly lead to a career in aviation. The lobby and media rooms at Historic Aviation Memorial Museum are available to rent for meetings or catered luncheons, and we also have a gift shop, multimedia theater room and an extensive library.
