Halfway between Sydney and Melbourne. 6-8 hours driving, without sight seeing or food stops. Thus 2 full days driving. Short or long stays. (If travelling from overseas consider hiring a 4 wheel drive to get offroad and enjoy the National Parks). Around 3 hours from Canberra.
