Firefighters Museum Society

Firefighters Museum Society in Calgary, Alberta, Canada | Museum

The overall purpose of Firefighters Museum Society in Calgary, Western Canada, Canada, is to acquire, restore, maintain and protect fire apparatus, firefighting pictures, equipment and memorabilia relating to the Fire Service. The long-term goal is to establish a Firefighters Museum Society (Heritage Center) to house and permanently display fire history for the benefit of all the citizens of Calgary, Western Canada. The Museum Society dedicates itself to this purpose.
The responsibility for the establishment of a Firefighters Museum Society has fallen solely upon the professional fire fighter employed by the City of Calgary in Western Canada. We bear this burden with great pride and unity of purpose. We have an obligation to maintain the high standards set, not only by the Society, but also by I.A.F.F. Local 255 and the Calgary Fire Department Administration, therefore we conduct ourselves accordingly.
Firefighters Museum Society membership is comprised of Firefighters, Retired Firefighters and the many friends of Firefighters, whom we give great thanks for their help in this mission.)
