Tips for your Holiday in the Seychelles!!

HELP what should I bring on my holiday in the Seychelles!!

Clothing in the Seychelles: Light clothing is best suited for the warm tropical climate that the Seychelles enjoys all year round. Sandals and open shoes are also highly recommended. If you enjoy snorkelling it would be best to wean a T shirt to protect your back from sunburn. For an evening meal at a same Seychelles resturants and hotels you may need long pants for men and a more formal outfit for the ladies. You will find that you will spend most of your holiday in Seychelles in your Costumes and pareos so do ensure you bring your favourites along.

Hats and sunglasses and loads of preferred sun cream is a must when on holiday in the Seychelles. We would also recommend some after sun in case of any sunburn.

Capturing your memories in Seychelles: Do bring along your camera, video camera and a supply of batteries or your re-charger. You would not want to lose out on the amazing scenery the Seychelles has to offer. If you like to dive or snorkelling in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean then do not forget your underwater camera.

Hiking in the tropical landscapes of the Seychelles: If you would like to take guided walks and trail excursions please ensure you have the correct walking shoes. Do bring along adequate water and mosquito repellent with you as well. It would be recommended to bring along a hat as well. Medical in the Seychelles: If you suffer from a specific medical condition be sure to bring an adequate stock of the appropriate medication along. Mosquito repellent would also be recommended.

Travelling with Babies: A small stock of nappies and wet wipes is advisable to bring along as well as any special formula.

Travelling with Small Children: When travelling with young children it is a good idea to bring along paracementol.

Monetary requirements: All supplies and services are now payable in the local currency of Seychelles Rupees. You can exchange cash at the local banks or bureau de Change. Not all shops cater for credit cards so it is advisable to have a small amount of cash handy.

As a guest at Chalets d' Anse Forbans you will not require to pack any beach towels or snorkelling equipment as all our guests enjoy this service complimentary. We also stock a small amount of electrical adaptors please ask at reception.
