Sea Isle City is a friendly seashore community located near the southern tip of the New Jersey Shore.  The island is well known for its clean bathing beaches and beachfront promenade. Sea Isle City is one of the premier vacation spots along the New Jersey Shore.  Nestled on Ludlam's Island in Cape May County, it is conveniently located just 35 minutes from Atlantic City, 90 minutes from Philadelphia, and 2 1/2 hours from New York City. And Sea Isle City is more than just June, July and August...Our friendly town is just as attractive during our "bookend months" of the Spring and Fall. Over the last century, Sea Isle City has grown from a small fishing village into one of the Jersey Shore's most spectacular vacation resorts.  

Our clean, white sandy beaches and peaceful meadows have been attracting family vacationers for many years.  Sea Isle offers a diverse array of restaurants and shops, biking, boating, swimming, free summer concerts and strolls along our famous promenade. Beaches north of 20th street have no designations.  Activities such as surfing and volleyball are allowed on these beaches. In order to operate a sailboat on a Sea Isle City Beach, an owner is required to obtain a license from the municipal clerk.  The decal, isssued during the licensing process must be displayed on the right front hull of the vessel.
