Victorian Cape May City, the "Nation's Oldest Seashore Resort", has been welcoming visitors for more than a century. With over 600 authentically restored and preserved Victorian structures. the city is a National Historic Landmark site and has achieved national recognition as one of the best Bed & Breakfast Inn resorts, in the country. The ambiance of Victorian architecture, intricate gingerbread trim, old-time gas lights, cozy rocking chairs and colorful stained glass will sweep you up into the magic and romance of this one-of-a-kind Victorian Resort. Tours of the historic district and many of the Victorian Inns are scheduled daily through the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts. Cape May offers much more than Victorian Hotels and Inns.

Many modern motels, apartments and condominiums are located throughout the city. Fine dining and unique shopping are found from one end of the city to the other. Fishing, sight seeing, whale watching, kite flying, and sailing are a few of the outdoor activities available on a Cape May vacation. A don't miss is the annual Tulip Festival held every spring, Victorian Week, held every fall, and Christmas in Cape May which begins after Thanksgiving each year. The Cape May Convention Center, located on the promenade, hosts a variety of events for children and adults. The only U.S. Coast Guard Training Center is located in Cape May.
