The Lagoon City Webcam shows the view from a waterfront 'Dock-O-Minium' at Lagoon City. Brechin Ontario is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Toronto on the eastern shores of Lake Simcoe. Brechin is in the province of Ontario. The community was named for Brechin, Scotland. Lagoon City in Brechin is a semi retirement community which is one of a kind and is constructed and replicates the canal systems in Florida. Lagoon City is referred to as Canada's Venice. Lagoon City comprises of retired and semi retired professionals from every walk of life. Lagoon City provides flat rate city water and sewage along with many other amenities such as beach maintenance, mosquito spraying and canal maintenance. The community also has its own private sandy beach that mimics those of Georgian Bay.
