Mawgan Porth is a beach and village on the north coast of Cornwall between Porthcothan and Watergate Bay, situated in the parish of Mawgan-in-Pydar. It sits at the end of the Vale of Lanherne, and is where the River Menalhyl enters the sea.

The village consists of a pub, a few hotels, guest houses and caravan parks. The beach has golden sands, some dunes and high cliffs on both sides. It is a popular resort for holiday makers.

In the years 1949-52, 1954 and 1974, excavations revealed a settlement of the Late Saxon Period comprising three groups of buildings ('courtyard houses') and a burial ground dating from c. 850-1050 CE. Finds included pottery and stone artefacts.
