Huenenberg, a modern, rural village in Canton Zug lies nestled between the River Reuss and Lake Zug in wonderful pre-Alpine scenery. The many farming hamlets, the friendly village centre and the "Reussspitz" nature reserve all draw you to Huenenberg. The village too has a lot that's worth seeing: on the hill the ruins of the Knights of Huenenberg's castle. But the pearl of the commune is the St. Wolfgang hamlet with its Gothic church dating back to 1475.
