Ostergotland is a one of the traditional provinces of Sweden (landskap in Swedish) in the south of Sweden. It borders Smaland, Vastergotland, Narke, Sodermanland, and the Baltic Sea. In older English literature one may also encounter the Latinized version Ostrogothia.
