Alcudia is a municipality and township of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands, and a main tourist centre on the island of Majorca. Apart from the nearby sandy beaches the main tourist attraction is the Hidropark, as well as being home to Hotetur Bellevue complex, the largest holiday resort in Europe.

For all intents and purposes Bendinat is a small residential suburb of the resort town of Portals Nous, which in turn is part of the municipal district of Calvia, on the south west coast of Majorca.

Cala Ratjada on Mallorca's north east coast is centred on an old town with a working port. This serves as a base for various boat trips along the coast as well as for ferries to Menorca.

Can Pastilla, an attractive little Majorca resort is situated down the east side of the Bay of Palma. Formentera is the smaller and more southerly island of the Pine Islands group comprising Ibiza and Formentera, as well as various small islets, which belongs to the Balearic Islands autonomous community in Spain.

Playa de Palma is a superb 6km beach just east of Palma de Mallorca and a minutes from the island's international airport. To its west is the beach of Can Pastilla and to the east is the small resort of Arenal.

Portals Nous is situated on the South West coast of Mallorca between Costa d'en Blanes and the popular resort of Palma Nova.

The very popular holiday resort of Santa Ponsa, along with its more infamous neighbours Palma Nova and Magaluf, are all part of the municipal district of Calvia on the south west coast of Majorca approximately 20km, or 12 miles west of the capital Palma. Santa Ponsa has quite a wide selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and excellent facilities for visitors on self catering arrangements.

Son Bou is a village in the Alaior region of Minorca, a small island in the Balearics.
