When you come by ship to Bornholm, you will arrive in Ronne Harbour at the foot of St Nicolai Church. The harbour is the biggest one of Bornholm and lively frequented by ferries, fishing boats, cargo vessels and cruise vessels.

In Ronne there are exceptional many fine half-timbered houses but in between you see the more recent "bomb houses" of red or yellow bricks, which were built as replacement for the many houses, which the Russian bombed in May 1945.

Bornholm has it all - in only 587 square kilometres: Ceramics, glass and paintings, gastronomic treats, cultural events and a huge variety of nature. Port of Rønne welcomes you with open arms so - take a break and experience for your selves why seven out of ten return to this fantasy island in the middle of the Baltic Sea.

It is an industrial, fishing, and tourist center. Of note is St. Nicolaj's Church (14th cent.).
