Bayan Lepas is a town in Penang, Malaysia being home to the Penang International Airport. Bayan Lepas is also the industrial hub of Penang, being home to the Free Industrial Zone, where factories of many multinational companies are located. SUNTECH Tower is located there. Penang's longest and biggest shopping mall, Queensbay Mall, the Bukit Jambul Complex and Penang island's only Giant Hypermarket are located there. Bayan Lepas also connects the town through Bayan Lepas Expressway. The Snake Temple is located there. It has a population of about 141,000 people. Bayan Lepas is now the gateway to development in Penang. Many new condominiums, housing estates are all currently under construction in that area.

Tourist spots include the Snake Temple, War Museum, and the Fisheries Department Aquarium. Many new condominiums, housing estates are all currently under construction in that area. One of the famous and most respectus resident area is Taman Sri Nibong.
