A few kilometres south-east of Bredasdorp, on the Overberg Coast lies the pretty fishing and holiday village of Arniston or Waenhuiskrans. Two centuries old, Arniston is named after one of the many ships which got wrecked along this stretch of South African coastline, having become victims of 'The Cape of Storms'.
