A rare experience awaits visitors to the H. Lee White Marine Museum in Oswego, as they learn about 400 years of maritime history. Housed in a former 1920 grain elevator complex which was partially demolished in 1998, except for a two story section which was generously donated to the museum, H. Lee White Marine Museum is now a fully functional maritime history museum. Exhibits include the original lens from the Oswego West Pierhead Lighthouse, detailed ship models and dugout canoes, to name just a few. Learn about Oswego’s rich fishing history, take a walk through a captain’s cabin dating back to the 18th century or board the WWII Historic Landmark Tug. A trip to H.
