Stepping into the Harrison House Museum and Barn in Branford creates an atmosphere of antiquity with it's old wood walls, hand-hewn oak corner posts. See the unique corner cupboard and huge hall fireplace from 250 years ago, the furnishings of four-poster and rope beds, the bedspread, the seventeenth century chests of Branford origin. Marvel at the beehive bake oven, warming pans, foot stoves and old china. The Harrison House Museum also has one room dedicated to Branford artifacts, memorabilia and archives and is maintained by The Branford Historical Society.
