Step through the front door and you will see how the house was decorated by its then owners, the Nettlefolds, more than 100 years ago, walk a bit further into the study and drawing room and see the amazing collection of beautiful furniture and antiques. Winterbourne House played an important part in the community and this fact is highlighted in the Exhibition Room with interactive exhibits. Winterbourne House was built in 1903 as a small country estate, and with its large airy corridors and south facing rooms, it makes ample use of nature's sunlight.
