Welgelee Guest House, previously a large farmstead in the heart of the Constantia Valley, and now transformed into a guesthouse, is located off the Spaanschemat River Road (M42) in Constantia in the Western Cape of South Africa.

Welgelee Guest House offer six double rooms (all en-suite) with breakfast included and two comfortable and private cottages. All come complete with T.V., telephone, air-conditioning and bar fridge. The cottages have fully fitted kitchens. The rooms on the first and second floors afford our guests lovely views of the Constantia Valley and surrounding mountain.

Welgelee Guest House translates from Dutch as well-situated. In addition to its beautiful setting, two of the Cape's well-renowned golf courses are within five minute's drive and some of the country's top restaurants are close by in the Constantia Valley in the Western Cape.

The Constantia and Cape Town mountain ranges have beautiful, scenic walks and the world-famous beaches of the Cape are less than 20 minutes away. We are 25 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Table Mountain and the Cable Way, the Cape Town International Conference Centre (CTICC) as well as the City Centre. We are 10 minutes from the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
