At the beginning of May 2008, husband and wife team, Belinda Grant and Mark Stapleton took over the operations of The Vineyards Estate in Hunter Valley, Australia, and things have been on the up and up since. The new ownership is a 50/50 partnership between Belinda and Mark and Graham and Jude Turner from Brisbane. Graham Turner is the managing director of Flight Centre and he and Jude own 4 other luxury properties including the elite Peppers Spicers Peak Lodge, of which Belinda and Mark were the founding managers.
Plans for The Vineyards Estate are to lift the already high standards with upgrades on packages already complete. All suites are now complete with their own complimentary arrival mini bar inclusive of Dom Ruinart Champagne to kick off your stay. A new guest lounge is soon to be added with additional luxurious soft furnishings arriving for the rooms soon.
