Ballooning is encouraged as a group activity, able to break boundaries of age and nationality. Hands on experience in helping set up the balloon leaves each traveller feeling as though they have really participated in creating their spectacular memories.


Up Up and Away operates five of the largest and most advanced balloons in the country, with an overall capacity for up to 75 passengers at a time, making them ideal for groups.

As New Zealand's most experienced, leading Ballooning company, Up Up and Away is licenced by the Civil Aviation Authority, and all balloons undergo regular tests.
