Tynemouth Flea Market in Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear, United Kingdom | Market

Step off the Metro at Tynemouth, United Kingdom, on any Saturday or Sunday and you will find yourself in the midst of one of the busiest flea Markets on Tyneside namely, The Tynemouth Flea Market. Set in the (partially) restored splendour of Tynemouth's Victorian railway station, this covered Market is a joy for those seeking largely second-hand bargains. Stalls include books, videos, records, compact discs, household bric-a-brac, clothes, pictures and prints, militaria, china, furniture, crafts, flowers, homemade confectionery; you name it and it will probably be there. Remember to haggle for the best price and get there early for some serious bargains! There is a farmers Market on the third Saturday of every month, and book fairs on occasional Sundays.

our book fairs a year are held in the wonderful setting of Tynemouth Station on the West Concourse, alongside The Tynemouth Flea Market on the East Concourse.

There are up to 50 stalls at the Market selling books to suit all pockets and interests, including antiquarian and second-hand books, paperbacks, local history, childrens and Science Fiction, as well as printed ephemera. The Tynemouth Flea Market, Tynemouth, opens from 10:00am until 4:00pm and the entrance is free.
