Welcome to the Tolbooth Museum, Stonehaven, Scotland. Visit Stonehaven's oldest building - the Earl Marischal's 16th - century storehouse which served as the County Tolbooth of Kincardineshire from 1600-1767 to discover at the Tolbooth Museum:   * Why Episcopal priests were imprisoned here in 1748

Opening Hours at the Tolbooth Museum:  Open 4th April - 1st October, Wed - Mon 1.30 - 4.30. CLOSED Tues.   Free Admission

Some of the exhibits at the Tolbooth Museum include: Special Fossil Display on the Oldest Air Breathing Millipede found at Stonehaven – see a unique model and information panels.

Stonehaven Heritage Society

This year, Stonehaven Heritage Society has mounted a display of old photographs, postcards and booklets. We are delighted that they have also kindly donated a TV/DVD player to the Museum, which will show CD's of 'Old Stonehaven' and the Fireball Ceremony.
