Entrance to Tasman Bay Backpackers, is situated in New Zealand's sunniest city - Nelson. Tasman Bay Backpackers is warm (log fire and heaters in all rooms), homely and is located just five minutes walk from the centre of town (just far enough away to be free of the noise and hustle of the inner city).

Every evening we serve up hot chocolate pudding & ice cream (free to all guests). Also in the winter (from May 1st thru to October) we offer a free breakfast (inc homemade bread). If you are looking for a fun, interesting place to stay where the staff are really friendly, the hostel is clean but has atmosphere and is comfortable then, you've found it.

There are so many activities to do while in Nelson or if you just want to relax at Tasman Bay Backpackers that's ok too (lots of people do that). Comfortable beds, hot showers, hammocks to lie in, good music to listen to, free bikes to explore the area and extra friendly staff mean that you'll leave here feeling revived and refreshed - ready for the next adventure.
