We are both University of Minnesota Horticulture alumni, and we have more than 25 years experience in teaching, research, plant production, design and garden center management. We share a common passion, love and desire for what we do, and our business is truly an expression of us.
Tangletown Gardens showcases more than 3,000 perennial varieties (but who's counting), an incredible annual and heirloom vegetable selection along with unusual woody shrubs and trees. We also carry an extensive array of aquatic plants, fountains, and water features. Our indoor plant selection offers a sure cure for even the most severe case of cabin fever.

We have done much research to ensure we carry only premier soils and amendments, mulches, fertilizers and garden remedies. Our soils are blended with water-holding polymers and myccorhizae to optimize plant performance. We have our own Tangletown Gardens Fertilizer that we believe outperforms any other brand on the market. We have the necessary plant remedies to solve the occasional insect, weed, varmint, or disease problem that may pop up in your garden. We offer beneficial insects, organic solutions as well as a very select list of pesticides along with expert advise to help you through any garden crisis.
