The Sunridge Ski Area in Edmonton, Canada, has a chalet which is the ideal setting for your wedding or company function. Our large cedar-paneled chalet includes a dining area with a central fireplace, a dance floor, open beam ceiling, and a spectacular view of the river valley.

While not mandatory for recreational skiing and snowboarding at Sunridge Ski Area,  helmets are becoming more and more popular. And in the Terrain Park, helmets ARE mandatory.

Iit is easy to learn to ski or snowboard on Sunridge Ski Area's  Carpet Lift.  A Carpet lift is a conveyor belt which rests on the snow and gently transports skiers and snowboarders up the hill.  It is ideal for first-timers, including young children and adults, and is easier to use than any other type of lift.  Just step on, ride up, and step off. The Carpet lift is located on our gentle Bunny Hill next to the rope tow.

Snow tubing is the best thing to happen to winter and Sunridge Ski Area has the only Snow Tubing Park around Edmonton. With a dedicated tubing lift (so you don't have to walk up the hill), three groomed chutes down one of our main hills, and special tubes provided by us, you won't find a better outdoor winter activity.

Have a TUBING PARTY and book a group (10 or more people). Birthday parties, office get-togethers, scout groups, hockey teams or just a group of friends.

To qualify for the group rate, you must pay in advance and one supervisor for the group is responsible for paying for the tickets and then distributing tickets to the group at reception.

Friday evenings from 7pm to 9pm are usually very busy at Sunridge Ski Area, and we often have to temporarily close the tubing park for grooming (takes about 10 minutes) especially on days when it was above freezing, and then temperatures drop in the evening.
