Welcome to the Ship Inn, Stonehaven, Scotland. The Ship Inn, beautifully situated at the edge of Stonehaven's picturesque harbour, was built in 1771. The Inn was acquired by Simon Cruickshank in May 2004. Mr Cruickshank has many years experience in the licensed trade, and also owns Troupers Bar in Barclay Street.
Stonehaven is the main town in Kincardineshire and is situated on the coast 15 miles South of Aberdeen.
Aberdeen, the Oil Capital of Europe, is a short motorway drive away (15 - 20 minutes) and there are good bus and train services too. Stonehaven is a popular destination for the people of Aberdeen and the region of Aberdeenshire, being an attractive and historic small town with a picturesque harbour, scenic golf course and many other attractions.
We have six comfortable bedrooms. All the rooms have double beds ( two of which are four-posters ), and one also has a single bed for family use.
All of the rooms at the Ship Inn have en-suite showers and WCs, hairdryers, tea and coffee-making facilities and colour televisions and all but one of our bedrooms offers beautiful views of the harbour.
