Proprietors are husband and wife Nathan and Hannah Davies and business partner James Byrne who have lived in Cumbria all their lives and have long held a passion to create a restaurant which specialises in home made dishes in a contemporary setting. James, who was previously head chef at Avanti in Kirkby Lonsdale, has already made a name for himself in the area and continues to impress with his creative style and culinary skills.
The comfortable surroundings of the Bistro also has the bonus of also being a gallery displaying some very nice works of art. The subtle music adds to the ambiance.
