The Quayside Restaurant opened in 1999 and is housed in one of the oldest buildings in Whitby, England. Built back in the 1820s as Whitby's Bath house, Museum and Library, the building has had several other uses since the early 1900s including shops and a photographic studio, and during the war the troops were fed on the ground floor before dancing on the first floor.
The author, Bram Stoker carried out some of the research for his novel Dracula in this building.
