Welcome to The Papamoa Swimming Club, New Zealand. The Papamoa Swimming Club was formed by a bunch of enthusiastic parents back in 1981. Their focus back then was two fold: first, to teach Swimming in the community; secondly, to form a competitive Swimming squad.

Today the Papamoa Swimming Club continue this focus by offering four different programmes: The ever popular Learn to Swim programme, which takes the cautious beginner to a child who can easily swim widths, from there they move onto Length Swimming, which includes the Beginner & Advanced Lengths and the , Development Squad and our Training Squad.

The Papamoa Swimming Club follows the SwimSafe curriculum used by Swimming New Zealand. The children have two 20 minute lessons each week over a 6 week block. We have two blocks one in Term 4 and the other beginning Term 1 of the following year. We take children from age 5 and up.
