Pacesetter Ski Shop

Pacesetter Ski Shop in Edmonton, Edmonton Capital Region, Canada | Skiing & Snowboarding

Pacesetter Ski Shop was founded in the spring of 1973, as a general sporting goods store located in downtown Edmonton, Canada.
By 1982, Pacesetter Ski Shop had evolved into an exclusive alpine ski shop.  Shortly there after, with the advent of snowboarding, our inventory mix was established.
In the fall of 1990 Pacesetter Ski Shop moved to its present location in Edmonton where we take pride in serving our customers, with the best brands in alpine skiing and snowboarding.
At  Pacesetter Ski Shop our focus is on skiing, snowboarding, and the active lifestyle it promotes.
Pacesetter Ski Shop is a great specialty shop for any skier.  Whether you are a racer, big mountain rider, or just the weekend warrior, our outstanding educated sales staff will find the right product for you.
If you are the type of skier that looks to ride everything that the mountain offers, whether it be powder, trees, moguls, or groomed runs, Pacesetter Ski Shop has a category of skis which will satisfy all of your needs. Relative ski category would be the free style ski designed as a soft, flexable ski with equal lift at the tip and tail.
Many people enjoy the groomed, hard packed runs, thrive for speed, and push themselves to the limit every time. If you are looking to carve harder, ski faster, and exceed the limits, then you are looking for a carve ski. This type of ski will have a steeper side cut and a narrower waist width, allowing the ski to perform beyond the expectation of the rider.
A racer is looking for a ski unlike any other, a ski that will perform to the max, and handle in any condition the course is in, no matter how hard they push themselves. This customer will be in either a GS or SL ski, and our friendly staff at Pacesetter Ski Shop can suit you up with the perfect ski for your needs.
At  Pacesetter Ski Shop we know that kids grow up fast.  We also believe in meeting the needs of the parents for this reason.  We offer our customers a trade in program, this is where if the child grows out of the skis/bindings, or boots purchased in the previous year, then we will give you half of the money spent on your skis/bindings, or boots purchased toward a new pair of skis. This is available only to juniors.
