The Oyster Bay Railway Museum in Oyster Bay, Oregon, is committed to preserving the interesting history of the railroad and railroad station which was constructed in 1889. Our museum is filled with collectibles such as railroad memorabilia, interactive displays and a display yard complete with full-size railroad rolling stock and equipment. One of the popular collectibles at The Oyster Bay Railway Museum is Locomotive no. 35, retired in 1955 after many years service, and replaced with diesel-electric machines. The reconstructed interior of the railway station is fitted with period-approprate fixtures such as a ticket window to capture the atmosphere of the station at its prime, as well as interactive and educational exhibits.
