Oakland Ballet in Oakland, Alameda County, United States | Ballet

Ronn Guidi, Founding Artistic Director of the Oakland Ballet, has revived the Oakland Ballet Company, United States. An exciting Oct. 20 inaugural performance at the Paramount Theatre featured Michael Morgan conducting members of the Oakland East Bay Symphony in Marc Wilde’s Bolero, Vaslav Nijinsky’s The Afternoon of a Faun and Guidi’s Trois Gymnopedies. December will celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Guidi’s Ballet Nutcracker at the Paramount Theatre, also with Michael Morgan conducting members of the Oakland East Bay Symphony. The Oakland Ballet Academy exists as a separate entity from the Foundation and will continue to function as the training vehicle for classes, auditions, and rehearsals. From its inception, the Foundation has adopted the mission of providing performing arts opportunities to youths in the community. With your support, we can help future generations grow up and flourish in an arts-thriving world.
