The Newnham SunCatcher Inn.

The Newnham SunCatcher Inn. in Saugatuck, Allegan County, United States | Inn

The Newnham home was built around the turn of the century, purchased by Harry Newnham, one of the "town fathers" in the early 1920s and had been occupied by his descendants until the spring of 1985. The current Innkeepers, Barb and Nancy, purchased the home in 1991 and are celebrating their 15th year of welcoming you to their Inn. Its tasteful architecture was typical of the era in which it was built.
The exterior of the home is graced with a wrap around porch, complete with gingerbread carvings in its corners and a porch swing for beautiful summer nights. Inside you will find spacious rooms embellished with carved woodwork, beautiful oak floors, graced with oval braided rugs and large windows. Period style furniture and family antiques add a decorative touch to its five spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms, sitting room, dining room and country style kitchen.
Nestled in the back of the main house is a quaint and comfortable double suite cottage. The Soda Suite has a kitchen fully equipped, fireplace stove in the living room, cable TV and DVD, and a bedroom with private bath. The Cottage has a large sitting area with a fireplace, cable TV and DVD, and bedroom area with private bath. Both suites are air-conditioned.
