Monkleigh House was built by Lord Saltrens in 1808 and has a wonderful atmosphere, retains a wealth of period features and is furnished with many lovely antiques. We are ideally situated between historic port town of Bideford and Great Torrington, within a few miles of the beautiful rugged coastline of North Devon. Nearby are the pretty fishing villages of Clovelly and Appledore and the sandy beaches of Westward Ho! and Instow are within easy reach. Both Dartmoor and Exmoor are also within easy travelling distance.
