The Mill on the Fleet was built in 1788 as a cotton spinning mill and restored as a visitor centre by Dumfries and Galloway Council in the 1980s.
The Main Exhibition Floor
The main exhibition floor has displays explaining the natural and social history of Gatehouse, including special displays on the Fleet Valley National Scenic Area, and on renewable energies.
The Faed Gallery
The Faed Gallery has a full programme of exhibitions running throughout the season. It is also the venue for a programme of talks and lectures.

The Bookshop Gallery on the second floor has a programme of photographic exhibitions running throughout the season.
The Riverside Café
The Riverside Café provides delicious snacks, sandwiches, meals and drinks all day. Enjoy the river and its varied wildlife from the open air terrace.
