Welcome to The Memphis Zoo in Memphis, United States.   The Zoo of tomorrow begins today. Together we are building one of the world's great Zoos right here in Memphis. The Memphis Zoo's friendly staff and volunteers are dedicated to providing a naturalistic and enriching sanctuary for our animals and a clean, friendly, entertaining and educational experience for our guests.

The Memphis Zoo is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.   Since 2004, The Memphis Zoo has earned four consecutive four-star ratings by Charity Navigator, America's premier independent charity evaluator.

The Memphis Zoo has a variety of children's programs for kids of all ages.  Whether your child is interested in a one-of-a-kind Zoo Snooze or an educational week of fun and adventure during the very popular Zoo Camp program,  The Memphis Zoo has something to fit your needs.

Have you ever wanted to know more about the beautiful plants at The Memphis Zoo? Have you wondered why certain plants are planted in certain places, or which ones would grow well at your house? Here’s your chance to find out! This year The Memphis Zoo is offering a series of brand new horticulture tours for members. Join Zoo horticulturist Jill Maybry for walking tours through various areas of the Zoo, and learn more about our lush plant-life.
