Welcome to Marlin Coast Driving School, Cairns, Australia. Marlin Coast Driving School is a family operation that has been running in Cairns for just under a decade. Frank and Colleen are Cairns locals with two children and are committed to providing supportive and patient Driver Education covering road law, practical driving, defensive driving techniques, basic car inspections and all necessary resources to drive safely and keep our families alive on the roads. Billie has joined out team as our third driver, having recently moved from Townsville.

Frank is a former Qld Police Officer with 17 years service in mobile patrols, undertaking extensive Police driver training, and is a former Qld Transport Agency driving examiner in Central Qld. Frank has an extensive knoweldge of Qld road law and has attended and investigated hundreds of Motor Vehicle accidents both fatal and non-fatal. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology, Certificate of Policing, is an accredited driver trainer and accredited Defensive/Advanced driver trainer contracted to Safe Drive Training as their Northern instructor and sole agent.

Colleen is a former Retail Area Manager/Assessor and Trainer and an accredited driver trainer/Defensive driver trainer. She has undertaken defensive and advanced driver training.  Billiee is an accredited driver trainer/Defensive Driver trainer and has undertaken defensive and advanced driver training.

Learning to drive in Cairns: We service all Cairns regions and provide learn to drive (theory/practical) in Manual and Automatic vehicles. Marlin Coast Drive School has two female and one male instructors, we provide pre-test assessments and vehicles for driving tests. Our aim goes beyond just passing your test at Marlin Coast Driving School, our goal is to teach you to drive and prepare you for all the dangers on the road.
