The history Museum is committed to collecting, preserving, interpreting and promoting a deeper understanding of the rich history of Alexandria and Louisiana. Admission to The Louisiana History Museum is free and we offer informative Guided tours. Our Museum is home to one of the largest local postcard collections from 1905 to 1955 and a unique collection of photos from 1860 to the 1960's.
