Karate Kitties,is a parent/child toddler karate program, with a focus on motor skill development, social interaction, and parent-child bonding.
This Karate Kitties program has been custom designed by Dawn Barnes, Chief Instructor and founder of Karate Kids, and Meghan Atwater, a licensed preschool teacher. It is modeled after the successful age appropriate structure taught at Karate Kids for 20 years. Our on-staff clinical child psychologist, Dr. Bruce Rush, has monitored and given proffessional input on each level of the curriculum.
OUR CLASS FORMAT
Through specific segments with the 45 minute class, your child will be learning: * LIFE SKILLS teachings; patience, focus, kindness, honesty, and respect * MOTOR SKILL DEVELOPMENT balancing, climbing, running, blocks, punches, kicks * SOCIALIZATION interaction with other children with positive play and direction * PARENT/CHILD BONDING * OUR ENVIRONMENT
