With a combined 54 years of residential and upscale commercial experience, Oglethorpe Antiques and Interiors, has created sumptuous yet comfortable interiors in Europe and throughout the United States.
Windows are hung with custom Designed draperies incorporating fabrics by Scalamandre, Clarence House, Brunschwig & Fils, Pierre Frey, Nancy Corzine, Sanderson, Old World Weavers, Classic Revivals, and the list goes on and on. Numerous Designers with products made the correct way - by hand. Oglethorpe offers an enormous line of passementeries from all of the leading houses. We use fine English linens, Thai silks and Designs woven to our own specifications in France. Interiors are painted, papered, or covered in fabric and molding - endless possibilities - to reflect the client's own personal style. We also carry Zuber & Cie Scenic Wallpaper (pictured below).
To finish the room, our Designers choose from our own classic furniture - or order to the client's taste. We proffer an endless array of one-of-a-kind accessories that make the home truly unique: Antique chandeliers and mirrors, wall sconces as well as a fine collection of 18th and 19th century clocks. Looking for handmade custom lamp shades? One client said her only regret was that she could not wear hers as a hat!
