Built in 1912, overlooking the famous Bay of Angels, and classified a National Historic Monument in 1974, the Hotel Negresco, in Nice, France is one of the few remaining privately owned palaces still existing in the world. Jeanne Augier, owner and chairman, has created a unique living museum. Her desire to share her passion for art with her clients. Throughout the Hotel, epic periods in the history of France are represented, from the renaissance to the 3rd Millennium.
The decoration of each one of the Hotel Negresco, in Nice, Frances 121 guestrooms and 24 suites has been inspired by the most outstanding periods of French art and history. Rooms have been individually decorated to reflect styles as different as Louis XIII and art deco. Madame AUGIER designs the rooms and her team of workmen and specialist craftsmen see that her ideas become reality.
The most recent technology has not been forgotten and every room is equipped with LCD television sets and ADSL Internet access.
