High House Farm Brewery, Matfen, Newcastle upon Tyne, is a micro-Brewery that was established in 2003, and is situated on a 200acre working farm in Grade 2 listed buildings. We are a child-friendly Brewery and our exciting working farm location is ideal for a unique day of fun for the whole family who will enjoy the wildlife that actually live on the farm, such as badgers, foxes, squirrels, roe deer, hare, weasels to name just a few. There is also an abundant bird life on the farm. We have also developed an exciting, yet easy, 3 mile walk through our fields and woodland. We produce a good quality single hopped real ale at our Brewery, that is made from our own grown malt. At High House Farm Brewery we are currently supplying casks of Beer, bottled Beer, as well as presentation packs to more than 200 pubs, restaurants and farm shops, we also have regular tours of our micro-Brewery which includes ale tasting at our bar.
