The village lies just 2 miles south of the popular tourist resort of Hunstanton and the long stretches of golden sandy beaches of Old Hunstanton, Holme, Thornham, Brancaster etc for which North Norfolk is so well known are just around the corner.
Heacham Holiday Cottages,are perfectly situated for visiting the Queen’s private estate at Sandringham and other stately homes such as Holkham Hall, Oxborough Hall and Houghton Hall.
This area is also well known to bird watchers and the RSPB’s reserves at the neighbouring villages of Snettisham (also famous for being the finding place of Boadicaea's golden torcs) and a little further round the coast at Titchwell, attract many visitors all year round.
