The Harrisburg Symphony Association

The Harrisburg Symphony Association in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, United States | Orchestra | Symphony | Educational programme

The Harrisburg Symphony Association in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, was established as a Symphony Orchestra in the early 1930's by a group of committed music lovers who, in spite of difficult times and circumstances, managed to enrapture their audiences with their first concert in 1931. Audiences attending our Symphony concerts can look forward to enjoying pure musical magic with each of our performances, be it classical, pops or family concerts, and any preconceived ideas surrounding classical music will dissipate into thin air. Our Symphony association also offers interesting educational programs. Classical music as performed by The Harrisburg Symphony Association is constantly with us, whether in shops, elevators, on television, in movies or mulling through our heads, and you could surprise yourself as you recognize a masterpiece being played.
