Halton Miniature Railway in Runcorn, Cheshire, England is a stunning attraction with almost a mile of track running through a small part of Town Park. The journey takes 10 minutes and all are welcome, trains are normally hauled by one of Society's petrol locomotives and some members and volunteers also bring their own steam and electric locomotives to run. Halton Miniature Railway offers beautiful rolling stock of coaches some featuring air brakes and padded seating, and trains are normally 2 to 3 carriages in length able to carry up to 20 passengers, and the society owns four locomotives. Trains depart from Mousetrap Hall Station every few minutes depending on weather and availability, so check first whether trains are running, and if booked in advance, trains can run specially for groups of 10 or more, come for an incredibly fun journey.
